Licensed since 2019, Oscar began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) for the 6th Judicial District, Knox County, Tn. During his time as an ADA, Oscar was assigned to the Elder Abuse Unit, DUI Unit, Career Criminal & Gang Unit, and Felony Drug Unit. Oscar practiced in both General Sessions Court and Criminal/Circuit Court and conducted Preliminary Hearings, Motion Hearings and Jury Trials. During his time as an ADA, Oscar handled 100’s of cases.

After over 4 years as an ADA, Oscar joined Barnes & Fersten, PLLC, in 2023 where he served as a Supervising Attorney until 2026.
